1 Live in the Freedom That Christ Provides

13 For you, brothers, were called to freedom. 19 Now the works of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, promiscuity,1Cor 3:3; Eph 5:3; Col 3:5; James 3:14-15 20 idolatry, witchcraft, ^{▼▼Or sorcery} hatred, rivalry, jealously, outbursts of anger, quarrels, conflicts, factions, 21 envy, murder, ^{▼▼Other mss. lack murder} drunkenness, wild partying, and things like that. I am telling you now, as I have told you in the past, that people who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.1Cor 6:9; Eph 5:5; Col 3:6; Rev 22:15 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ^{▼▼Or faith}John 15:2; Rom 15:14; 1Cor 13:7; Eph 5:9; Col 3:12; James 3:17 23 gentleness, and self-control.
